We strive to make acupuncture and wellness care as accessible as possible. Zevergy Acupuncture & Wellness is credentialed with several insurance providers, and we are happy to support patients who wish to use their acupuncture benefits.

Using Insurance

Many insurance plans now include benefits for acupuncture treatment. Because coverage varies between policies, we encourage you to contact your insurance provider prior to your visit to confirm that acupuncture is a covered service under your specific plan.

When speaking with your insurance company, you may want to ask:

  • Is acupuncture covered under my plan?

  • Do I need a referral or prior authorization?

  • Are there visit limits per year?

  • What are my copay, coinsurance, or deductible responsibilities?

Having this information ahead of time helps ensure a smooth experience when scheduling your visit.

Insurance Plans We Accept

Zevergy Acupuncture & Wellness is currently credentialed with the following insurance providers, however it is important you check your specific insurance policy:

  • Medicare - Medicare ONLY covers chronic low back pain

  • Medicaid

  • United Healthcare

  • Medical Mutual

  • Anthem 

Zevergy Acupuncture & Wellness is also a VA approved provider for services

If you do not see your insurance company listed, you may still have out-of-network acupuncture benefits that can be used for treatment.

Out-of-Network Benefits

Some insurance plans offer reimbursement for acupuncture services even if your provider is not in your network. If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, we can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

We recommend contacting your insurance provider to ask if out-of-network acupuncture services are eligible for reimbursement under your plan.

Self-Pay Options
